Bliss! Bliss! and more Bliss!

Met Tricia at Domestic Bliss in Mesa last week before Creative Escape. My friend Earleen brought me there straight from the airport! What a delight Tricia is so cute....and UBER talented to boot!

I will upload pictures from the store as soon as Earleen sends them to me. Domestic Bliss is to die for....if you are ever any where near Mesa, you must stop by and check it out!

It is really hard to describe in a few words how amazing Creative Escape was this year.

The dynamics of all of the teachers was absolutely amazing, and down right inspiring  . The first day we displayed our art in a trunk show and spend some laid back casual time with all of the students (my fav part, seeing all of the teachers art!) The displays were AMAZING! Tim Has some great photos of everyone's art on his blog.

We had the chance to teach hundreds of students. 8 classes in two days! (and in my case have them get "down and dirty") All of my students left with quite the inky hands...and probably felt like the just completed creativity bootcamp with a powerboost.  I was amazed to see the huge pallet outside the back of my classroom...Thats a TON of product!

I spent so much time laughing it up with so many wonderful women, and men that now my heart is full, and I am ready to get my own ART on!

1 4X6 SEPIA or BW photo

some found objects that have a bit of meaning to you--old jewelry, keys,charms, buttons etc

foam brush/or 1-2" water color brush

awl/ paper piercer

baby wipes

I am back!

It sure has been a while my friends! I promise to get back to blogging on a regular basis...Got to improve on my time management. For now I will leave you with a collage share...I was playing with texture(as usual) and have to say I love the fact that I can get messy with photos after the have been Super Sealed...notice that along the edges of the photo i painted an there is no smearing of the ink on the photo!
